We define philanthropy as the giving of resources in an engaged and strategic way for maximum impact and in a tax efficient manner. It can include the giving of money, assets, time, talent, voice and one’s social capital. We believe in the power of philanthropy as a great social connector and the source of many great opportunities.

Giving Tuesday arrives in the UK

#Giving Tuesday, the antidote to the conspicuous consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, arrives for the first time in the UK on December 2nd.

The national day celebrating acts of generosity andcalling on everybody to complete one charitable act, originated in the US in 2012 and has spread across the globe to Australia, Canada, Singapore, Mexico and beyond. It now boasts more than 10,000 partners globally.
